Over the next few homes games UTEP will host a number of 2015 prospects on official visits.

Last season 21 of 23 prospects that came to UTEP on visits verbally committed during their visits according to coach Kugler.

This week 6'7 tight end Hunter Thedford will be in the Sun Bowl tonight for UTEP's homecoming game with Old Dominion.

Thedford participated in UTEP's June 10th prospect camp, and is also being looked at closely by Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Louisiana Tech.

Thedford was mainly a defensive player as an end before transitioning into a full time tight end this season.  He is playing in a new pass first offense this season in where he sees the ball a lot according to sources.

UTEP is his only offer at this point, but it appears Texas is very close to popping an offer, he has taken unofficial visits to Austin, though UTEP will be the first official visit of his recruiting process.
