UTEP Football: Recruiting Update

On February 5th, Sean Kugler will announce his first full season time tabled recruitng class of coaching career.

The dead period ended last week, leading to a number of visits this past weekend and next.

We all know the Miners were short handed on defense, leading to a possible influx of defensive lineman and linebackers.

Kugler went local with two offers for 2015. Q Drennen is wide receiver from El Paso Americas who caught 50 balls for 888 yards last season. Also picking up a 2015 offer is Del Valle quarterback Steven Montez. He is 6'5 and a rising start, he has been a starter since he was a sophomore.

In other news, defensive lineman Corin Brooks will transfer to Tarleton State, he switched from the offensive line last spring, and did not see action this past fall.
