As most already know, yesterday we found out via Twitter that 5'9 PG Dulani Robinson out of the City College of San Francisco would not be making his way to El Paso for the 2013-14 season.

Robinson had signed to play with the Miners just a little more than a week ago, but apparently has failed to qualify academically. Robinson had this to say:
"Some school errors occurred that we knew nothing about. I will do another year of JUCO, but UTEP is still in the picture."
Unfortunately for the Miners, this has become the trend with the 2013 recruiting class. At this point, it seems the Miners will simply have to roll with what they've got. That is in no way a bad thing, as the Miners return a ton of talent, but at some point depth may become an issue.
We'll continue to monitor the recruiting situation, and will keep you updated on any news as it becomes available.
