Over the last months, the creative teams of SB Nation have been working on a project called SB Nation United that is aimed at unifying all 300+ sites across the SBN network. Now, this project will not only give all sites the same look and feel, but it will also enable us to be able to use the same resources and editorial processes.
While the change in appearance for the site will give us a modern feel and a brand new image, this is much more than just slapping on a coat of paint! This is a change in philosophy that is aimed at bringing you all more quality content than ever before.
Now, we have not been given an exact launch date, but I can tell that it will be here very soon. And I'm sure you're all wondering exactly how this will affect you, the reader, so here's a little bit on exactly what you can expect:
- SB Nation United is going to make our sites load faster and run better meaning you can get to the content you want faster.
- SB Nation United is going to make sure that you're seeing the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and reduction of clutter.
- SB Nation United is going to make the experience on our sites run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change.

- SB Nation United will not take away or change any of the community elements you love like FanPosts and FanShots and GameThreads.
- SB Nation United will now bring us StoryStreams, that will allow us to follow breaking stories as they develop.
Now, more than ever, I encourage you as readers of MinerRush to truly take control of this site, and to make an effort to contribute to it by putting up fanshots and fanposts, as well as commenting and taking part in it in any way you can.
Don't forget that MinerRush is your site. This is a place where we as Miner fans can come together to learn about the things affecting our sports teams, and to be able to voice our opinions no matter where we stand on any particular issue.
These changes that will be implemented will do wonders for this site, but as a whole it will only be as good as we make it. I hope you enjoy these changes as much as I do, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Go Miners!
