"The Rush" Episode 13 - UTEP Sports Talk

Topics on this episode of "The Rush" include UTEP football, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, women's volleyball, the Ultimate Miners Bracket Championship match, and the UTEP Men's Basketball "Dream Team".

Last week we were out at Camp Socorro, checking out what the Miners are looking like heading into the 2012 season. Multiple players were held out of practice while we there, but plenty of other guys showed a ton of promise.

The summer long series of the Ultimate Miners Bracket wraps up this week with the championship match that features the 1 seed, the 1966 Texas Western Miners, vs. the 6 seed, the 1989 UTEP Miners. Make sure to get your vote in there, as well as in the UTEP "Dream Team" small forwards piece.

The women's basketball team recently released their entire schedule for the 2012-13 season, and much like the men, it boasts a solid non-conference slate. The women's soccer team will get their season underway this week with games against Utah Valley and Utah State. Make sure to get out there and support them.
