UTEP Women's Basketball Announces Complete 2012-13 Schedule

A few weeks ago, the Miners showed one of their toughest non-conference schedules in recent history and today, UTEP Athletics announced the entire schedule, including conference games.

UTEP will open their Conference USA schedule Jan. 9 at Tulsa then hold their first home conference game four days later against East Carolina.

The Miners will have the chance to avenge their only loss of a 15-1 conference record last year when they take on Rice Jan. 24 in Houston. They take on the Houston Cougars three days later to complete the Houston trip.

UTEP will rap up the season against three of the top five teams from last season when they head to Memphis (Feb. 24), host Rice (Feb. 28) and close the season against Tulane (March 8) at home in a C-USA Tournament Championship Final rematch from 2012.

The Miners' non-conference schedule includes games against Arizona State, New Mexico and NMSU at home and aways games against Kansas State, NMSU and Arizona in the Junkanoo Jam on the Bahama Island.
