A little more than a week ago, we learned that former UTEP softball player Camilla Carrera was named a first team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Now, both Carrera, and her former teammate Chelsea Troupe, have been tabbed All-Americans by the Easton Fastpitch Association.
Carrera has been named first team, while troupe was named to the second team. The honor is an addition to all that both players have earned over the last weeks. Carrera has already been named C-USA Players of the Year, and was given All-Region, and NFCA All-American accolades. Troupe was named All-Conference, and All-Region as well.
Here is a quick breakdown of the two players stats on the season:
Camilla Carrera | Chelsea Troupe | |
---|---|---|
AB | 141 | 162 |
R | 62 | 56 |
H | 63 | 69 |
