UTEP Seniors Randy Culpepper and Julyan Stone will be participating in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament tonight through Saturday in Portsmouth, VA. The tournament takes 64 college players from around the nation to participate on eight 8 man teams. Randy and Julyan will be playing on different teams, but it is definitely a great opportunity for them to play in front of scouts from every single team in the NBA. Other C-USA players invited to play are Memphis F Will Coleman, and Tulsa G Justin Hurtt. Former Miner greats Tim Hardaway, Antonio Davis, and Filberto Rivera were also invited in years past.
