UTEP Women's Golf Set to Play in West Region of NCAA Tournament
The Lady Miner golf team will compete in the West Region of the NCAA tournament after winning the Conference USA championships last week. The matches in the West Region are set to take place at Washington National Golf Club on May 5-7 in Auburn, WA. Also competing in the West Region will be I-10 Rivals NMSU, as well as New Mexico, BYU, and fellow C-USA member Tulsa. Eight of the twenty-four teams from each region, as well as two individuals will advance to the finals in Bryan, TX on May 18-21. Good Luck to the Lady Miners. The UTEP Men's golf team just wrapped up its season after finishing in 11th place in the CUSA Championships in Texarkana, AR. The Miners shot rounds of 309, 301, and 299 for a total of 909, while winner UCF posted a three day score of 862.
