The Memphis Tigers at the UTEP Miners
THE DON HASKINS CENTER
February 26, 2011
CBS College Sports
We all know the stakes. In a week marred by national attention of Tim Floyd for his ejection at East Carolina, and of course the loss in Greenville, the UTEP Miners absolutely have their backs against the wall in this one. The Miners hadn't lost back to back games all season long until Wednesday. While UTEP's NCAA Tournament at-large hopes are now gone, the Miners still have a lot to play for. First and most importantly, with the muddlds mess that is the C-USA, UTEP is still only one game back of Southern Miss, UAB, and Memphis. A win today, and the Miners will keep alive their hopes for a share of the C-USA Championship.
