The UTEP Miners (1-3) take on the Oregon Ducks (3-1) in a non-conference matchup tonight at 8:00 p.m. MT in Eugene, OR. Most recently, the Miners dropped a home contest against Stephen F. Austin 53-35, while the Ducks knocked off Nebraska 83-76 on the road. The two schools have never faced each other, and the Miners haven't played a Pac-12 opponent since squaring off with Oregon St. in the finals of the CBI back in 2009. This is the first of a tough three game stretch against Oregon (3-1), NMSU (4-1), and #20 UNLV (7-0). All we can ask is that we play tough, stay close, and give ourselves a chance.
