On the eve of the Miners' appearance in the 5th annual New Mexico Bowl, one has to wonder if this will be the year that UTEP football finally breaks through. The Miners haven't been to a bowl game since 2005, and haven't won a bowl game since 1967. It seems to be a theme in football and basketball, we just never win the big game.
