UTEP alumnus Quintin Demps has made the Houston Texans 53 man roster for the 2012 season.

The Chicago Bears have signed former UTEP defensive back Cornelius Brown to a free agent contract. UTEP now has three players who have signed free agent contracts: Brown, Jeff Moturi (Green Bay Packers), and Da'mon Cromartie Smith (Pittsburgh Steelers).
