I don't think they're taking a major chance based on the sources that I've talked to that said basically that UTEP officials are confident that Tim Floyd is not going to get singled out on that Committee on Infractions Report from USC... Even if Floyd is singled out in the CUI it doesn't mean that UTEP can't hire him.... For UTEP this is a big, big deal to get a big-time coach.
