More fallout from ESPN over a hire that hasn't even been made official yet. First Rob Dauster of Ballin is a Habit (link above) defends the Niblett hire and notes that Floyd did nothing illegal. He also discusses the fact that the NCAA doesn't want to cut off a path for a high school coach to join the college ranks completely, so the hire Floyd made fits within the "spirit of the rule."
Then, ESPN's Eamonn Brennon, link here, predictably argues that the NCAA should now ban the hire of high school coaches to college assistant jobs and to operations positions. So again, he admits that Floyd did nothing wrong, then criticizes him for doing something wrong.
