MI's Chris Avila spoke directly with Andre Patterson and UTEP's defensive coordinator confirmed that it would take a job offer that is a "tremendous opportunity" to get him to consider not coaching his son in El Paso next year.

I have no idea when UTEP launched this site, but it's a great way to learn about the '66 team. Hat tip to Chris Avila who wrote a heck of a piece on the way UTEP currently honors the '66 team, without which, I might never have stumbled upon this site. Avila thinks it's time to construct an on-campus museum, or at the very least, an elaborate display kiosk, to honor the team. This website, is a good start.
