2013 6'5 shooting guard Isaac Hamilton out of St. John Bosco High School (CA) has narrowed his list to 5 schools, and UTEP is still in the running. The other schools he is still considering include San Diego State, Baylor, Washington, and UNLV. Isaac is the brother of 2014 UTEP recruit Daniel Hamilton, another 4-5 star SG.

After reviewing tape from Saturday's game, the SEC has decided to suspend freshman DB Trae Elston from this week's game against #14 Texas, after deeming his hit on UTEP WR Jordan Leslie "flagrant and dangerous". The play happened with 3:18 left in the ball game, and surprisingly, it drew no penalty. The action taken by the league, however, shows just how uncalled for the hit actually was.

The Thundering Herd will play four teams from conferences with a top four RPI with road games at Villanova (Nov. 11) and at Kentucky (Dec. 22) as well as games against West Virginia (Dec. 5) and Cincinnati (Dec. 15) at the Charleston Civic Center.
The latest Vegas lines are out, and the Miners are a 7.5 point underdog against the Ole Miss Rebels. All things considered, that's pretty damn good.
