After a tough, disappointing loss Monday night at the hands of the New Orleans Privateers, the UTEP Miners will flip on the lights in the Haskins Center and try to bounce back against the Northwestern St. Demons tonight.
This will be a tough test for the Miners, as the Demons come in to tonight's game ranked 7th in the nation, and their lowest point total on the season is 71 against Louisiana Tech.
The Demons run a high octane, fast paced offense, they take a lot of quick shots, and at one point this season were averaging just 13 seconds a possession.
Brison White is starts at guard and is their best athlete, and provides energy.
The Miners will have to rebound on the defensive side of the floor and not waste possessions on offense in order to win this game, identity hint.
The availability of Justin Crosgile and McKenzie Moore are still in question, they will be game time decisions by coach Floyd.
The coaching match up pits old college roommates going head-to-head, Floyd and Mike Conathy went to LA Tech. Floyd texted McConathy "good luck" on Wednesday.
Lets fill up the thread Miner Nation, its barley December and this one is a must-win.
