The UTEP Miners take on the East Carolina Pirates in a Conference USA matchup Saturday in Greenville. The Miners enter off a road to loss to #23 Wisconsin 37-26, while the Pirates come in after falling on the road at North Carolina 27-6.

The game will be the Conference USA opener for the Miners, but will be the second league contest for the Pirates who knocked off Southern Miss in Hattiesburg 24-14 only two weeks ago.

This should be a closely contested battle. Both teams have had their issues on either side of the ball, and both have shown that they have plenty of talent. This could be one that goes down to the wire.
