As is the norm for this time of year, many names are being thrown around for coaching vacancies around the country, and UTEP's Tim Floyd is no exception. After former Kansas St. coach Frank Martin bolted for the head job at South Carolina, CTF's name was mentioned as a possible replacement. Now that LSU coach Trent Johnson has officially resigned, CTF's name once again is being mentioned as a "great fit". Floyd does have the Louisiana ties, but I'm not sure that its a better fit than UTEP. These are of course, only rumors, and only time will tell how these things play out.
