Miner Memories: "Great UTEP Dunks"

This week's Miner Memories will take on a little different format, and will actually be a bit interactive. You're actually going to get three "Miner Memories", and you will decide which is the best dunk. Here they are.

This was literally 4th on my list

I really liked it, but I just didn’t think it was as breathtaking as the others. Still, a great dunk though.

I remember seeing this one too a while back

What’s crazy, is that most people that do a dunk over someone don’t actually clear the entire person. Their legs spread around their upper body or whatever. Every part of Randy’s body clears that guy…CRAZY!!

I would say on sheer athletic ability Randy was just a freak for his size…what he does in the air is pretty incredible…You can tell Washburn just has that glide and flies through the air effortlessly so I expect to see much more of this in the future.
J-Wills dunk was really the moment u could tell that team was so special, the talent on that roster was crazy…we broke Memphis’ strangle hold on the league that night so that dunk was special…im also a sucker for dunks over people and with authority. I’d go J-will, RC and washburn.

I really think J-Will's dunk is

monstrous, or as Teicher calls it a ferocity. I was at the game for Julian’s dunk and I literally jumped out of my seat when it happened. Seeing that live and in person, I felt like that was one of the best dunk’s I had ever seen from a UTEP player (I also feel like the camera angles don’t do it justice). But, all in all, the more I watch Randy, the more I think how amazing he was. The guy could fly. That’s where my vote went. And, I just love how the Marshall guy is ready to go up and make a play on it, and then once Randy takes off, the guy is kinda just like nah forget it.
