10-12, Miners Not Allowed To Win On The Road
A career high in points from Senior Gabe McCulley wasn't enough to get it done on the road against the Rice Owls, as the Miners now fall to 0-11 in true road games. The Miners had a chance to take the game into overtime, but was to be denied by a last second shot by Rice. Gut wrenching loss, really.
The Miners now come back home to the friendly confines of The Don Haskins Center Saturday Night (7:00 PM MT) to take on UAB (7-13)

Great choice of song
ha. Hopefully we can get back on track on Saturday. We’ll see what happens on the road. Still have Memphis, UCF, and SMU away from home. Won’t be easy to win any of those.
Another tough one to swallow, but I mentioned in a previous post that we are
probably going to get every bit of bad luck and ball bounce the other way possible this season. It’s obvious the team is playing hard, but they just have to learn u can’t beat yourself on the road with dumb plays down the stretch (Streeter). And losing close games in general sucks. They probably feel like crap because we could of won all three roadies, but chalk it up to season full of trials and tribulations. Hopefully these guys only get better from this and we move forward to beat UAB at home this Saturday.
