Pete Rousel of coachingsearch.com is reporting that he has confirmed that Sean Kugler will be the next head coach of the UTEP Miners, and that Washington State linebackers coach Jeff Choate will be his defensive coordinator.

Choate, who just completed his first year at Washington State, has also had stops at Eastern Illinois, Boise State, and Utah State. He has spent time coaching all three levels of the defense, but this will be his first gig as defensive coordinator.

Again, as stated in the previous posts, UTEP officials have yet to confirm anything at all. But, with more and more media outlets confirming through their sources, it does seem like Sean Kugler will be the next head coach of the UTEP Miners.
