As a Jayhawk fan, I can’t root for VCU (unless they win tomorrow) but I will definitely be rooting for Butler! Oh, and I HATE UNC, but I also HATE UK, so who do I root for??

Simply can’t root for Butler—just doesn’t taste right. And for some reason I’m only lukewarm about VCU. It’s weird cuz by nature I’m an underdog. (I had Memphis winning it all over Loovul. Sad, I know) Crazy tourney for me. My heart goes with Ky, Az, VCU (barely), Fla. Head goes with exactly the opposite.

if vcu & butler make final 4

Then there will be a backlash and we will see less mid-majors next year…i actually think the “little guys” is what makes this tourney great. With the exception of butler and vcu this is the point where i stop watching college basketball

I'm with you on that

It wasn't a very good week for C-USA, but hopefully UCF, and SMU can at least win the CBI, and CIT. That will be a little consolation. I think.

I'm definitely rooting for Butler and VCU

Although I really don’t think VCU has much of a chance. Kansas is on a mission, and I just don’t think VCU can handle their size in the post. Butler on the other hand has a great shot against Florida. What an accomplishment it would be if Butler makes back to back final fours. That would be absolutely amazing.

I think Kansas has to be the outright favorite to win it all, but UNC, UK, UCONN, and Zona are all playing great basketball. It should be a real good final four…but come on Arizona. Put away that last Big East team so they have absolutely no leg to stand on!

It was a pretty bad postseason for C-USA. It didn't at all represent the quality of teams we had. Oh well, what do you do? Its time to finish up this great NCAA tourney, then take a step back until football season....UTEP's that is. We'll see how long it takes for the NFL to get their **** together.

Well, AZ played well. Too bad the refs took Williams out early and often in the first half.

great weekend for small conferences

VCU and Butler have destroyed my brackets, but rekindled my belief in the little guy. What a weekend for college hoops.

I think it is great that two of the “small schools” in the NCAA tournament have slain the “big boys” and earned the right to play for a spot in the final for a national championship! I only wish more “small schools” would be given a chance to play against the Big 6 conferences during the NCAA tournament. It is really the only chance to play against the teams from the “Big 6” on a neutral court since there too few opportunities to get a team from a bigger conference to go on the road to play against a “mid major” team. Go VCU or Go Butler! Take it to whomever you end up playing in the final!!!

You Gotta Believe

where are the critics who slammed the comittee for picking vcu...

Goes to show they know nothing about basketball —more little guys next year please. I actually believe the playing field is leveling despite big conference gap. Kids just want playing time…

IDK, but they look pretty foolish. I was rooting for Kansas but what VCU has done is amazing. I am mad that only one of them can make the championship game, because I think they could both make it if they were on opposite sides of the bracket.
