The UTEP Miners simply got beat down the stretch of their match-up with the Southern Miss. Golden Eagles.  More on the loss later, for now here is Tim Floyd's postgame press conference (courtesy of UTEP Athletics).  The audio is somewhat muzzled because of where the press conference occurred (in a hallway) but you can make out most of Floyd's comments.  He notes that USM did a good job of shutting down Claude Britten down the stretch by denying him the ball and that USM forced UTEP into a zone that they ultimately were able to exploit.  Floyd credits USM for doing a great job defending Julyan Stone and Christian Polk.
