UTEP's votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll doubled from four to eight this week and the Miners checked in at #30 in the national poll.  The Miners are tied for #30 with the UCLA Bruins.  The AP Poll has not yet been released, but I will update that as soon as it becomes available.  No other C-USA teams received a vote in the coaches poll.  This is a huge week in the C-USA as UTEP battles Southern Miss. and Memphis battles UAB on Wednesday night.  

UPDATE:  The AP Poll is out and UTEP did not receive any votes.  UTEP received 2 votes in the AP Poll last week, apparently a 10 point win in their only game of the week was cause to drop them off a couple of ballots.
