Miner Illustrated is reporting that the Miners are in the running to sign 6-11 big man Philip Jurick. Jurick currently plays for Chattanooga State Community College, and would be ready to play next season. He was considered a 3-4 star athlete by various sites coming out of high school, and committed to Tennessee where he redshirted before leaving the school. According to MI, Jurick also has offers from Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Southern Miss, UCF, and West Virginia,
