UTEP Safety Braxton Amy Out for the Season With ACL Injury
I heard from several people early this morning that UTEP's Braxton Amy is out for the rest of the 2010 season. Really, more than the loss last night, this news really hurts because we all know how hard Amy has worked to recover from so many injuries over his career as a Miner. Now, it appears Braxton Amy's star crossed career at UTEP ended last night when he suffered an ACL injury late in the game against the Cougars.
Amy had worked tirelessly to recover from various injuries over the past years for a chance at a healthy senior campaign. He was probably UTEP's best chance at landing a player in the NFL Draft this coming April as, when healthy, he's been one of the best safeties in the conference consistently over his career.
Best wishes to Braxton and the Miner Nation hopes he has a quick recovery.

Unfortunate
It is a shame someone so talented never had a true chance to show his talents. I hope he gets a chance to showcase his talents at the next level.
