Schedule Shifts: Texas Longhorns off UTEP's 2012 Schedule; Miners Replace UT with Wisconsin
The newfound conference realignment has forced Texas to shift around their non-con schedule. Consequently, the 2012 clash against UTEP in Austin has been moved to 2016 and the Miners have added Wisconsin to the 2012 slate. The article also notes that the Miners will play the Kansas Jayhawks in 2012.

Not so much a let down
We’ll still play Texas down the road and instead we get a game at Wisconsin in 2012. That’s not too much of a drop off.
I've always wanted to see a game at Camp Randall- and to see Madison
I think UTEP fans prefer Texas- who wouldn’t? But like you said we still get to play UT, just further on down the road…

They had to accomodate the 9th conference game in 2012- I know they have a series with UCLA and Ole Miss around that time …

Game was just moved to 2016
no set date but glad to see that they will still play…Wisconsin is a good back up though…
