According to an El Paso Police Department spokesman, the 22-year-old Davis got into a verbal altercation with the woman in an apartment in the 300 block of Shadow Mountain that resulted in him allegedly grabbing her by the wrist. According to police, Davis let the woman go and she grabbed her phone. He then allegedly "tackled her and grabbed the phone and threw the phone."
