NBA.com: Rookie Ladder; UTEP's Derrick Caracter #1 Rookie So Far

Three games in, it isn't John Wall, Demarcus Cousins, or anybody else on top of NBA.com's Rookie Ladder. Who is? UTEP's Derrick Caracter. DC had his 3rd straight double double yesterday, and he is looking like a lock to make the Lakers squad.

What should our expectations of the football team be? What does cmp need to show in order to be around next season? Is he even in the hot seat? I would like to see a winning season and a bowl appearance. He can have immunity if he can knock off houston…

Any chance you might be invited to participate in the football podcast with the times crew? I wish those guys would update their blogs more often or at least let someone like u take over.

Good questions

For the first one, I wrote this just a few days ago on expectations for 2010.

I did an interview with Dr. Saturday (Yahoo!/Rivals site) where we discussed the “Hot Seat” situation a bit too… Link Here. Knocking off Houston will go a long way to silencing his critics, and I personally don’t think his seat is as warm as those in the national media. I do think, that with TV and Buckram being seniors, that he has to, at the ver least, take this squad to a bowl game.

I haven’t talked with anyone from the Times, this is the offseason, I expect that TUTO & Co. will pick up steam come fall practice. News is pretty dry right now…..

Caracter----Looks pretty Buff!!

He has trimed up quite abit from his days at UTEP and this is evident in his ability to maneuver with his ever present foot speed.

His strength is too much to handle——-I now look to see him next fall and winter on TV in NBA.

He is working out alot and it is visible———-now he understands what Patino preached in body composition lacking cellulite!!
