tonight's MVP

I am waiting to see J. Williams break out with a high scoring game. I expect USM to focus on Culpepper tonight, leaving the door open for Williams and potentially Stone. I would prefer to see Stone have a higher scoring night. He is more than capable of putting up good numbers and often passes up open lanes to look for the pass first. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but if he becomes a greater scoring threat the Miners will have another layer of difficulty for other teams. I think Barbee has been pushing Stone to do just that.

That's one of the things I love the most about Stone though...

I have always preferred a pass-first point guard. Even so, come post-season time it will be very reassuring to know that Stone can score when he needs to.

Oh man. Tulsa up 8-6 about 5 minutes into it.

There can't be more than 2500 people there...

Even the good seats, for the die-hard fans, are essentially empty.

Absolutely.

Man, if they go down, Memphis and UAB would be set up to play for the two seed next week.

That is a reason

Houston sort of scares me too. I link it was coleman who lit us up at the Don for Houston. Seeing him the the CUSA tourney could be dangerous.

Agree. There's never anything fun about playing

The Nations leading scorer. Coleman has been on fire.

This game is painful

I’m feeling better about UTEP’s intensity this half. They were really out of synch earlier.

Crunk Dunk??

Love it! Also love it when he gets happy feet in mid flight. I imagine this was the face he made for the dunk.

Would it be wrong

to start a counter for “Crunk Dunks” or something of a similarly awesome name?
