Stoudt originally signed with the Louisville Cardinals and redshirted in 2008. He is a 6'5 pro style quarterback who is also garnering interest from the Kansas Jayhawks, Ole Miss, Wyoming and Louisiana Tech. Kansas is in the lead now, but Stoudt has said that playing time and coaching staffs will be the determining factor.

Obviously, UTEP's quarterback race will be wide open entering next season and the coaches are now aggressively seeking a JC quarterback to boost the Miners depth at the position.
