Piss on Memphis

I am a cockeyed optimist and that ain't easy: I've also been a UTEP football fan for more than a half century. 

I crawl to the lip of the UTEP abyss

and peer over.

It's no abyss at all

but the face of a sunlit mountain,

climbers ascending.

Currently, I am writing a book to be titled Havoc in Motion--it's about Miner football over the decades. I'll be posting excerpts from time to time. 

My advice to all here: Never kick a skunk.
