Mike Price is not the problem?
I know that UTEP fans everywhere are about ready to either lynch Coach Price or have a pick-em bar-be-que with him as the main course, but hey I've been a Marshall fan long before the plane crash. and I'll always be. Once they left the MAC and dropped to Division II it totally helped rebuild their program. I for one graduated from Marshall and yes I've seen the changes, some good and bad. Please don't hold Coach Price accountable for the spike or the challenge, but maybe the offensive play call by the Off. Cord. As stated by the secondary, on the 2-PAT the play was identical to the one that had been used earlier. The defensive secondary stated we knew it was coming, they ran it earlier and when he went in motion I just waited and as soon as it was thrown I jumped on it. Yes, the play call was good, as long as it was to shift the attention to the opposite side of the field and a quick toss to the back out of the back field would have worked perfectly. Monday morning Qb's are everywhere. Coach Price may want to take a good hard look at his staff in the off season. Marshall did, and the best thing that happened to them was offering M.Snyder the chance to resign or be fired, and this was after being accepted to the bowl game last year. Marshall and UTEP are basically on the same page this year, both squads have suffered multiple injuries to key players. I know for a fact that one game Marshall started either 9 or 10 freshmen or sophomores due to injuries. That makes for a long season. Guys just try and grim and bear it, and hopefully you'll get that sixth win and become bowl eligible. Good luck and keep punching.

I tend to agree more with Joachim....lol
Buddy no offense, but what are you talking about? Mike Price is not being burned at the stake because of a loss to Marshall. You have to realize that UTEP has really not done much with Price over 7 years. Yes, the first two years under Price UTEP went to bowl games, but (a) with mostly Gary Nord’s players, and (b) they pretty much got embarassed in those bowls. Regardless, over the last five years we have been in somewhat of a rebuilding stage and 5 years is longer than it should take with such a high profile coach and the best recruiting ever every single year. I myself am a fan of Mike Price and know that he is a great person, good coach, and chances are we wont do any better without him. However, when do you say enough is enough? Believe, the attitude of many El Pasoans toward CMP did not start on Sunday. It has culminated over 5 years of disappointment. This year is just the one that has put it over the top. A 5-1 start and now very possibly a 5-7 finish??? I hope he’s around another year, but unfortunately I don’t make that call. But again, it’s not the Marshall game. It’s the fact that we’ve now seen a hundred Marshall games.
Yeah, UTEP is not rich enough to fire coaches
I think the biggest problem is that TV is never yanked from the games. Sometimes he sucks and he should be yanked. But instead he’s left in to rot. Maybe the next QB will be different, we can run. I really think we can run in C-USA, all the defensive ends are smaller and weaker and we can wear them down. Control the clock. That game against Houston last year was awesome! They just ran and ran until UH gave up and then they ran more.

Patterson benched Obi- or didn't start him a game and you saw improvement
Trevor might need to be waken up a bit too because he has no confidence right now.

Mike Price
It is kind of hard to ask price to re-evaluate his O-Staff when his son is the O-Coordinator.
