Jerry Briggs of the San Antonio Express News has written an excellent article on Trevor Vittatoe. Trevor lost his mother, Kari, when he was 17 years old and Briggs chronicles how Vittatoe and his father's relationship changed in the years since. All of this leads to Saturdays game where Trevor needs just 152 yards passing to pass Jordan Palmer and become UTEP's All-Time leading passer. Update: The Ft.
